Shohin Hinoki Cypress
Shohin Hinoki Cypress Before
When you want to create a shohin bonsai, it is better to use small variety. This is a dwarft hinoki cypress. It requires a lot of water and keep in the shade in mid-summer. I restyled this tree in this spring. The second picture is a basic style after one hour of restyling.

Shohin Hinoki Cypress After
I repotted the tree into a better and finer pot. This picture was taken this three months after the restyling. Tree's height is 3.5 inches. It is almost the same size as the nectarine fruit next to it.
